Bluenest by Globalvia joins European Mobility Week in collaboration with the public sector of Madrid, Spain

As part of the initiatives organized by the Community of Madrid during this important European Mobility Week, Bluenest by Globalvia celebrates a special meeting entitled "Hospital Emergency Logistics with Drones" at the Hospital de Cantoblanco to bring this new Advanced Air Mobility to the general public.

The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, José María García Gómez, who highlighted the advantages of using these unmanned aerial vehicles for different purposes. Ana Gómez Galindo and Jose Ignacio Rodriguez went into more detail on the specific use cases for emergency medical transport and the link between hospitals, contributing to the early care of patients, and the endless benefits that logistics drones could bring, reducing distance, time and emissions and providing faster medical services.

Afterwards, thee Bluenest by Globalvia team have the opportunity of carrying out a flight and vertiport control (including U-Space) demonstration with its new aircraft DJI M350 RTK (C5 marked) UAS in the framework of the European U-ELCOME DSD Project, which aims to support the implementation of a set of U-Space services and procedures to safely and efficiently manage, coordinate and integrate drone air traffic into European airspace.
